The Doctor
Again, time has gotten away from me. Oh well! I'm updating now, so bee happpyyy!!!! :D:D:D So, about two weeks ago almost all of our youth group and I drove up to Spokane, Washington. It was VERY fun :) How could an 8 hour ride with 60 teens not be fun?? =P So, anyways, let's get down to the reason we went to Spokane: there was a youth conference called 'Steubenville NW', it was a Catholic conference, it was AMAZING and FUUUUUUNN!!! :D:D:D It was held at Gonzaga University, so we all slept in dorms (two people in each). I'll highlight some of my favorite parts and spare you the boring details. There was a comedian speaker named Judy McDonald, whom everyone called Aunt Judy (by her request). I am now aware that I am a hippo, along with everyone else at the conference =P I am a PROUD hippo though!!! :D:D:D There was also another comedian named Chris Padgett, he was awesome too :) And HILARIOUS, especially when he talked about his blind grandma... :D:D:D:D =P When we initially were driving, I got kinda freaked. There were hardly ANY trees. I'm a Washington girl, I am NOT used to that (Yes I know that it's Washington there too, but I have suspicions that it's actually Idaho...). And it was WARM!!! We haven't had much of a summer here, so it was VEEERY nice :) Okay, enough about that. My sister Elizabeth (Liz) got married on the fifth. It was a small wedding in the back of my other sisters' yard. My Mom forced me to help her pick flowers by the side of the road, it was NOT fun. The next day was the reception at Liz' new husbands' (Joey) grandparents' house, but I couldn't go because I woke up that morning with a big headache, pinkeye, a sore throat, and both of my ears hurt like they had an infection. It was sad, because my friends were gonna be there too ;( On to another subject... Doctor Who starts again in 11 days!!!!!!!!!!! I am VERY excited!! :D:D:D I just HATE that River Song is gonna be in this season alot... I HATE her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I think I'll just stop at that, I don't want my venting to get out of hand (again)...
